Recorded Sessions and PDH Certificates
We have most of the recorded sessions posted to the Whova Virtual Conference Platform. Be sure to login to the Whova App and watch ones you missed!
As for the Professional Development Hours (PDH Certificates… We are working on providing certificates to attendees that participated in the live-streamed conference. If you missed that, fear not! We can also track attendee activity on the recorded sessions. Please notify Anne Daymut that you would like to be tracked and receive a certificate for your hours.
See the Virtual Conference Page for more details…
Registration is OPEN again
The registration to view the recorded presentations is now available. Online Registration for the Virtual Conference is now OPEN.
The conference is over, but we recorded the presentations from the live conference. Conversations are still going on and speakers are following up on questions on the Whova Virtual Conference Platform. We will be preparing for the 2021 conference but will leave the 2020 conference up for as long as possible (at least into spring 2021).
Video Tutorial for Whova App Navigation
Here is a primer for navigating the Whova Web App from Robert Hughes…
We’re only about a week away… Test out your connection!
What if I have a problem accessing the Whova App? Test it out early! We will have limited capabilities to test your connection during the conference. Can you get on the Whova Web App link? Visit the exhibit hall and see if you can watch videos. We are troubleshooting before the conference and learning workarounds every day. Whova uses Zoom’s Web SDK to embed Zoom Meetings into the Whova Web App. Unfortunately, Zoom’s Web APK is behind in quality and features as compared to the native Zoom App.
Here are some things to try:
- Maximize your browser containing the Whova Web App to fill your entire screen. Some more buttons may appear (i.e. “Ask A Question” button in the live presentation sessions).
- Re-join the session by simply refreshing the page in your web browser.
- Join the live stream through the Whova Mobile App on your smartphone or tablet.
- Organizers can provide you with the Zoom Link to participate directly through Zoom’s native app which usually has better audio and/or video quality than the Zoom Web SDK (this is a fix especially for a known issue with satellite internet lag time).
- Visit the Virtual Conference Page for some more troubleshooting tips.
Online Registration now OPEN
We are now accepting registrations for the virtual conference in October. Please visit the Registration Page for more details. The conversations have already started on the Whova App! Register early and don’t miss out on the networking opportunity.
We are going Virtual!
The AMR Conference Committee decided to try a virtual conference this year with everything going on regarding the COVID 19 pandemic. We decided to bring the conference to you! We chose the Whova Conference Platform which not only incorporates Zoom for video chats and webinars but also has virtual networking (that will start before and after the conference), surveys, virtual booth space where attendees chat with exhibitors, and much more.
The PA AMR Conference has been postponed
For the safety of our attendees in the midst of the COVID19 virus outbreak we have postponed the conference to October 28-29.
Online Registration
The AMR Conference Committee has sorted out a wide array of logistical details over the past few months and online registration is in the works.
A Growing List of Presentations
The AMR Conference Committee has been diligently working behind the scenes to gather and approve presentations for the 2020 AMR Conference. We are excited to announce the approval of 12 presentations so far. Please see the Presentations page for more details.
